Kari lives in Westminster, Colorado with her husband and their three kids. Her family keeps busy with training, hiking, biking, stand-up paddle boarding, traveling, skiing, crossfit, cooking and gardening. Kari has been personal and small group training for 8 years and is currently an owner and director at Impact Fitness. Kari has always been an outdoor and fitness enthusiast. She was a competitive swimmer and runner through high school and college and has since competed and placed in many triathlons and endurance biking and running events. Kari realized that as a triathlete, she had a lot of endurance and stamina but was lacking in some key pieces of fitness. In April of 2017, Kari started CrossFit in order to improve her power, speed, strength, agility and coordination. She fell in love with the CrossFit community within Impact and enjoyed her improvements and gains and how much these components helped her triathlons. It is Kari’s mission to help clients gain strength, flexibility, mobility, and endurance so they are ready and able to compete, play, parent and keep up with life's busy schedules. She specializes in personal and small group training, weight loss, high intensity circuit training, strength training, and general fitness. She is dedicated to energizing, empowering and equipping clients and members for all of their passions and adventures. Kari absolutely loves people and she is all about creating a positive and motivating community that you can call your third home here at Impact!

DAN SHERWOOD
CROSSFIT COACH / WEIGHTLIFTING COACH
Dan lives in Littleton and has been developing his fitness education since high school. Dan is an avid outdoorsman and has played nearly every team sport at a competitive level. He first got his start with coaching and training after joining CrossFit Forest in Southern California, where he developed a love and passion for helping others to pursue their fitness goals. After 2 years of training, Dan attended and passed his CrossFit Level 1 certificate course, and shortly after began coach’s training at his box in Southern CA. After developing cueing, assessment, and class management skills, Dan began to run the Beginner’s Camp program, eventually moving on to coach all class levels on a regular basis. Dan plans to continue his fitness education by completing the CrossFit L2 course, as well as attend multiple athlete seminars.

Kris is an avid fitness junkie and stumbled upon the sport of Crossfit in 2014. After spending so much time at the “box” he decided to get his L1 to help others achieve their fitness goals. Looking to improve his coaching and fitness knowledge he received certification as a Certified Functional Strength Coach 2020.
In addition to his coaching duties, Kris is owner/operator of The UnBiased Advisor financial advisory firm and CEO of Portfoliodesigner.com. In his free time, he loves hanging out with his girls and studying human psychology. He is a recent transplant from Indianapolis, IN, and is excited to start a new chapter in Colorado.

I began my endurance journey at 40, and after a decade of distance running, I added in weight training. The results were transformative: my running improved, my mood lifted, and my overall health soared. Noticing a gap at my gym for a beginner's weight training class, I pursued certifications and launched one myself. Now, as a woman over 50, I love nothing more than seeing a gym or box full of women lifting heavy! As an endurance athlete, I’ve experienced firsthand the incredible benefits of combining strength training and mobility work with running, no matter the level.

Nathalie is from Venezuela and came to the United States in 2021 to continue pursuing her dream of being a CrossFit coach and personal trainer. She moved from Georgia to Colorado in September of 2022 to start working with us!
She was a gymnastics competitor as a kid, then she started to practice and also compete in Karate when she was a teenager. In college, she took up CrossFit as a hobby, but in just a few months, it became everything for her and she ended up being a full- time CrossFit coach and competitor. Within the years, she has worked as a strength and skills coach for top level athletes, and she has gained so much experience and knowledge working with elite trainers in different areas. Now she’s ready to share everything with us and grow together.

ANDREA RENDON
Originally from Colombia, Andrea found her first Crossfit gym when she came to the United States in 2011. Coming from a background in a variety of sports (Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Underwater Rugby), she was looking for something fun but that would keep her healthy, active, and competitive. After a short time, Andrea realized Crossfit offered so many challenges in different aspects of fitness that it was exactly what she had been looking for. This realization opened the door for a new found passion of helping others through fitness. For the past 7 years Andrea has worked as a Crossfit and Nutrition coach, both with group classes and tailoring programs to individuals who have more specific goals. The enjoyment she has helping people improve and reach their goals is just as exciting as reaching her own.
When not in the gym Andrea spends most of her time in the water playing and competing in Underwater Rugby and Underwater Hockey.

Emir discovered his passion for fitness later in life, beginning with endurance running—not just marathons, but ultra-distance events that took him all the way to completing 100-mile races. After moving to Colorado and balancing life with kids, he expanded his athletic pursuits into climbing, archery, and other mountain sports that matched his adventurous spirit.
During the COVID lockdown, Emir turned to functional fitness at home and quickly fell in love with both the movements and the methodology. That passion led him to join Coal Creek CrossFit in 2022, where he has continued to grow as both an athlete and a coach. Emir holds a CrossFit Trainer Online Level 1 certification and brings a well-rounded, lifelong approach to fitness.
He lives in Superior with his family and is dedicated to helping others discover their own strength and potential.
